New Homes Launched for a Holistic Healthy Lifestyle in
Idyllic Austrian Nature Park

New alpine residences in southern Austria, offer the opportunity to own a home in an idyllic and peaceful nature park. Holistic health and spa services and a plethora of winter and summer activities makes the un-crowded region a perfect antidote to busy city life.

Mountain Resort St. Lambrecht is in the quaint village of St.Lambrecht, which lies at 1,028 m above sea level in the Austrian province of Styria. The region is punctuated by rivers, gorges and soaring mountain peaks, carved by glacial activity thousands of years ago.

The 22 modern alpine residences are located at the base of the Grebenzen Resort ski slopes, offering owners the capability to ski-in and ski-out of their home. The homes’ elevated location close to the village offers panoramic postcard views over the pretty village with its landmark Benedictine monastery, and the surrounding mountains. The altitude of the village is deemed to be the most ideal for a healthy lifestyle, sleep and for sporting activity.

The spacious homes are built in a contemporary style with large windows to maximise the views and parquet floors. There is a choice of two- or three- bedroom residences, each with a living area of 130 m2 consisting of an open plan kitchen, living and dining room, bedrooms, bathroom, WC, optional sauna, large  terrace (of 40 m2) and garage. The developer, Allea Group, are marketing the homes with prices starting at €388,000 (£350,593) excluding VAT (20%).

Head of International Sales at Allea Group, Marco Bonini says: “The area is relatively undiscovered by the British but offers a peaceful retreat for those that enjoy nature and outdoor activities.“

Owners and their guests have access to the facilities and services of the nearby Naturparkhotel Lambrechterhof which has an indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, and spa. The hotel specialises in holistic health breaks for relaxation and recuperation that incorporates yoga, kinesiology, forest bathing and meditation. Body treatments for weight loss, muscle building and metabolism activation are offered, as well as beauty treatments. The hotel also has an award-winning restaurant, which serves locally served produce in a traditional but contemporary style.

The area is a haven for outdoor adventure sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. In the winter there is a diverse range of activities to be enjoyed. Right on the doorstep lies the small but beautiful Grebenzen family ski resort, which is perfect for children and those learning to ski. For those that want to ski in a variety of resorts there is a ski pass that covers a total of nine ski areas nearby between Oberem Murtal and Semmering. Other popular winter activities include cross-country skiing and biathlon, sleigh riding and dog sledging, snowshoeing, ice skating/hockey/curling, ice climbing and rock climbing.

In the spring, summer and autumn there are the forests, meadows and mountains of the beautiful nature park Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen to explore by foot or by bicycle. Nearby there are trails for hiking and mountain-biking, lakes for swimming and for fishing, places to play racket sports (tennis, badminton and table tennis), paragliding, parasailing, horse hiding, wellness, spa and thermal hot springs.

Golfers are particularly well served with the nearest golf course 7kms away, with a further four courses within 30 minutes. For all year-round play, the St Lambrecht has a modern golf studio with the latest simulators that enables play on 200 international golf courses, a putting green and a virtual driving range. Tuition and game analysis with a golf pro is also offered.

The owner behind Red Bull has invested approx. 300 million Euros into the region within the last few years. The investment was not only into the Racing Circuit (Formula 1 and Motor GP), which is 55km away from Mountain Resort St. Lambrecht in Spielberg, but also into tourist attractions and first class restaurants in the area. In addition to the many motorsports spectator events, there are opportunities for on-track experiences (various sport cars or motorcycle), off -road driving, go-karting, and more.

Art and culture lovers will like the fact that the resort is in easy reach of major cities such as Vienna, the ‘city of music’ with its beautiful palaces and modern theatre performances; Salzburg,  the city of Mozart, and within 3h 30 min you can be in Venice with its fascinating architecture and myriad of canals.

Owners are free to decide on how they are going to use their home. They can either buy it for private use, or as an investor and instruct the hotel management team to take care of renting it out.

The nearest airport for Brits is Klagenfurt airport (in the winter season) which is 70kms from St Lambrecht. Alternatively, there are direct flights to Vienna and Salzburg.

Allea Group have a portfolio of developments in Vienna, Cyprus and Russia.
