A Double Win for P1 Communications at the Homes Overseas Awards
P1 Communications has had a double win at the 2007 Homes Overseas Magazine Awards picking up awards for Best Individual PR Campaign for Les Jardins de St Benoît in Languedoc, France and Best New PR Agency. The awards were presented at a press reception and lunch at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington on Monday 3rd December 2007.

Resort Developer Gives Back To The Island Community
The Landings, St Lucia, a luxury condominium development near Rodney Bay has pledged substantial financial support to a local charity ‘Grow Well’ which provides encouragement, guidance, support and training to youths in the local district. With many all-inclusive resorts criticised for taking from, rather than contributing to island life, the move has been widely welcomed.

Market Comment - Response from international real estate agency, Premier Resorts on the cut in Capital Gains Tax.
The rate of capital gains tax for people selling a second home will become a fixed rate rather than a tapering rate and will be set at just 18 per cent, which has been dramatically cut from the current 40 per cent. This was announced by the Chancellor Alistair Darling in his pre–Budget Statement on Tuesday 9th October.
