A Nature-Inspired Holiday in Saint Lucia is Introduced at Cap Maison
Cap Maison, a luxury boutique resort that rests on the northernmost tip of Saint Lucia, has introduced a series of nature-inspired experiences for guests that showcase the island’s natural tropical beauty, mountainous scenery, exotic flowers and wildlife.
Described by Lonely Planet as a place with ‘geographic and cultural riches enough to embarrass far bigger nations’, Saint Lucia is an island of sheer natural splendour with it’s luxuriant topography, hidden beaches, historic plantations and vibrant villages. Here, it’s possible to gaze in the shadow of the majestic Pitons, cleanse the skin in the natural mud baths in Soufrière, discover the vast marine life under the cerulean Caribbean Sea and much more.
Below are a number of experiences in nature that guests of Cap Maison can enjoy:
Birdwatching with Adams Toussaint
For wildlife lovers, there’s no better way to become acquainted with the birds of the island than on a tour guided by the passionate Chief Forest Officer of The Ministry of Agriculture, Adams Toussaint.
There are several tours that are located across the island, for example the Dennery & Praslin and Des Cartiers Birdwatching Trail, a half day experience that offers some of the best birding on the island – with a good chance of catching sight of the endangered White Breasted Thrasher as well as the Saint Lucia Parrot.

Dining at the two different yet equally alluring restaurants available on site can be enjoyed. The culinary experience on offer at both The Cliff at Cap and The Naked Fisherman combine local island produce with innovative techniques under the lead of Executive Chef Craig Jones.
For a natural treatment that restores and revitalises after a long day, Spa Maison’s ‘Maison Tranquillity’ is a deluxe therapy that includes a couple’s massage followed by an exotic body scrub exfoliation using a range of local ingredients such as vanilla and cocoa.
For a quiet solitary moment, guests can simply lie back in the resort’s hammock with a book (or cocktail) in hand, with historic landmark Pigeon Island silhouetted on the horizon.
