The Dragon Trip Launch Japan Adventure Tour

The Dragon Trip – a tour operator offering affordable, adventure and educational tours in China – is launching a brand new Japan adventure tour, providing travellers with a truly immersive itinerary.

The 13 day tour, departing 12th September and 10th October 2016, will show off the many sides of Japan in an action-packed itinerary. Not only will travellers be shown the main sights in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and elsewhere, but the tour will allow full immersion into Japanese culture.

Alex Seigel, director, The Dragon Trip:

“There is an increasing trend in adventure travel as people look for opportunities to get under the skin of a country and really discover it. Japan is the perfect place for adventure travel with a myriad of options for cultural discovery.

“Having taken over a thousand people around China, we were constantly being asked if it was possible to do a similar trip in Japan. There is a great deal of interest in the nation but not a lot of affordable adventure travel options.”

On the trip, travellers will be accompanied by knowledgeable, local guides, who will help them overcome the often tricky language barrier. Travellers can take part in a karate lesson, a calligraphy class, a visit to the sumo district, an anime masterclass, trips to local bath houses and – of course – karaoke. The 13 day trip also includes plenty of opportunities to explore Japan’s beautiful countryside, with its shrines, temples and endless hiking trails.

Having built up a reputation for excellent itineraries and safe, low-cost travel in China, The Dragon Trip will now use its local knowledge and expertise to provide an insight into Japan and its fascinating culture.
