Two New Resorts Offer a Breath of Fresh Mountain Air for Investors
Kristall Spaces AG, the sales and marketing arm of leading British-managed property developer VenturePlus AG is now introducing an innovative apartment layout to the Austrian property market that gives owners the opportunity to maximise their rental returns. The two and three-bedroom apartments at Mountain Lake Resort – Ötztal in the ancient village of Oetz and the Mountain Spa Resort – Paznaun in world-renowned Ischgl will each feature two entrances, allowing owners to let out both sides of their apartment individually as double en-suites, as one would find in a hotel, or remove the configurable dividing walls to let the apartment as a larger getaway to families and groups.
Both projects come with a fully managed rental service when the owners are not using the apartments themselves and, as the service charge is calculated by square metre, the clever interior design means the 65m² to 100m² sized residences will further increase rental income and return on investment.

As a dual-season resort, Oetz offers world-class infrastructure and a wide variety of activities in the summer such as rafting, canyoning, glacier safaris, climbing, mountain biking, tennis, golf and fishing. It is also home to Europe’s largest outdoor extreme water sports park, Area47 where the latest innovations include ski ramps into water to practice somersaults and even a high altitude wakeboarding lake.
Due for completion in Q2 2018, the Mountain Lake Resort – Ötztal will feature 63 luxury one, two and three-bedroom freehold apartments, with prices ranging from €213,570 to €435,000. Residents will benefit from an onsite à la carte restaurant and bar, a 500m² spa and infinity pool with a natural bathing lake as well as underground parking. The Acherkogelbahn, a new eight-man gondola ski lift, is located only 100 metres from the apartments, giving access to 80km of skiing, whilst Sölden with its two glaciers and an additional 144km of skiing is only a 25-minute drive away.
The Mountain Spa Resort – Paznaun offers a similar specification and price point and is due for completion in Q4 2018.
As with all Kristall Spaces developments, both projects come fully equipped with furnishings and fittings sourced locally and parquet floors featuring underfloor heating. The interior themes have an alpine feel with a choice of a modern or traditional finish, combining warm, natural materials with minimalist designs.
