Vicky Goodall
Founder and Managing Director
Vicky Goodall set up P1 Communications in 2007 to fill a gap in the market for specialist expertise in resort marketing & PR. Vicky has 20 years’ experience of managing public relations and marketing departments for companies such as Premier Resorts, P&O and Psion Computers.
A Business Studies and Marketing graduate with marketing diplomas from the CIM and the MRS, she is also trained in Media Relations and a member of the Chartered Institute of PR. Passionate about travelling, Vicky has visited over 50 countries both for business and pleasure.
Vicky has an un-flappable approach to business and clients benefit from being in very capable hands, with no time wasted. Out of work she can normally be found in Richmond Park with her family and two dogs, or swimming to keep fit.
Surinder Manku
Account Director
Born in Tanzania, from Indian origin and now living in London, travel is certainly in Surinder’s DNA. A charismatic individual, who is professional and well organised with over 20 years of experience in the travel industry spanning from airlines, cruise lines and destination sectors.
Her expertise spans across the PR sector and managing PR departments in-house and agencies in UK, Ireland and EMEA. She forges lasting relationships with UK, Irish and European media, colleagues and suppliers at all levels. Earlier in her career, she worked in-house at American Airlines promoting new routes to the USA with tourist boards and has excellent knowledge of the North American travel landscape. Prior to joining P1 Communications, Surinder was in-house PR Manager at Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises. She currently works as Associate PR Director with Alabama Tourism/Deep South in UK & Ireland and is a member of the Visit USA PR Committee. Away from the office, Surinder loves nothing more than spending time with her family and planning her next travel adventure!
Claire Windsor
Account Director
Claire is a Marketing and PR professional, with over 15 years’ experience working in public and private sector roles within the hospitality, events and sport and leisure sectors.
Born and educated in London, Claire is a Marketing graduate with a Marketing Diploma from the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) and has worked at companies including H M Treasury and The British Horseracing Board.
Claire also enjoyed an 8-year stint living in Yorkshire, where she worked as Marketing and PR Manager at Owlerton Sports Stadium and with Napoleons Restaurants and Casinos, as well as working on PR accounts including Doncaster Racecourse and Boost Energy Drinks, and with several luxury and boutique hotel clients, before finally returning to London.
In her spare time, Claire enjoys spending time with her friends and family, her passion is food, and she enjoys cooking and creating recipes from scratch, as well as dining out to enjoy the vast culinary delights that London has to offer. One of her favourite past times, is walking along the riverside in Richmond and visiting Kew Gardens, she also loves to visit Theatres, Museums and Galleries whenever possible.
